Wauquiez - Centurion 49 for sale

This one family owned from new Ed Dubois-designed Wauquiez Centurion 49 cruiser racer was very well specified from new and has the rare combination of high performance, interior comfort, with style and grace. Never chartered.

The Wauquiez has an excellent reputation for strength of construction and with lots of water line 200 mile days on passage are not uncommon. She is auxiliary powered by a Perkins Prima M80T 80 hp.

Three staterooms with two heads provide plenty of room for family, crew or garage storage. 

There are two mirror image aft cabins port and starboard with a head and shower in between accessed from each cabin. Each cabin has two opening port holes for ventilation.

The galley is on the port side of the salon. Aft to starboard is the large oval dinette table. Storage and book shelves are everywhere. 

Forward to port still in the salon is the navigation chart table area. All switches and electronics are mounted in this comfortable forward facing area.

Through the main bulkhead to the master stateroom which has a Pullman berth to starboard and a seating/reading area to port with bookshelf above. Forward is a private head and shower area with sink and access to forward storage room. This room has a water tight door from the shower and access to the anchor windlass motor. Chain locker is accessed from on deck.

She has a large cockpit with walk up transom for easy dock access or med mooring. It also has a fresh water shower to rinse off after swimming. The table folds up for easy eating or storage. There is a two step bridge deck to get to the companionway. She has teak decks and a large hatch is over the storage room so it can be accessed from on deck.

This Wauquiez Centurion 49 benefits from in-mast furling, furling genoa, spinnaker, Fisher Panda generator, Autohelm, VHF radio, GPS chart plotter, radar, electric winch, electric windlass, winter cover.

Safety equipment includes life raft, EPIRB, flares and fire extinguishers.

Complete with tender and Evinrude outboard.

Whilst she is fitted with a desalinator & air conditioning neither of these have been used in quite a number of years.

The rigging is original.
