    Tamarisk 29 1989 £24,950

“Anny Ann“ is a much-admired traditional west-country gaff cutter. Built-in 1989 she has been lovingly maintained throughout her life and has been in the current ownership for the past seven years. She is fitted out to a high standard for short-handed and long-distance cruising with a view to maximising efficiency and ease of ownership, handling and comfort with standing headroom accommodation. She is a fast passage maker with a surprisingly easy driven hull form. She frequently reaches her hull speed of nearly 7 knots with her powerful gaff cutter rig. Upwind performing, she points well and in some cases is better than many Bermudan rigged boats but is particularly fast off the wind. Please call our Kent Office - Phone number removed - or further information or to arrange a viewing.

Aft of the Forward Cabin is the Heads compartment which spans the width of the yacht. There is storage both beneath and above the saloon settees. There is a removable saloon table that stows in the Heads Compartment that can also be used in the cockpit on those sunny evenings. The saloon has maroon upholstery. Aft of the Saloon area and to Starboard is the Navigation Station with an array of instruments, large chart table which also has storage for pilot books. Owners Comments
“I have owned Anny Ann for seven years now and found her to be a strongly built, well balanced, sea kindly boat which has carried myself and crew for many hundreds of miles in winds up to force six and gusting further without ever sensing that she was anywhere near her limit. Since purchase I have undertaken all her annual servicing and each year have carried out improvements or additions to ensure she has remained in good order. Works have included: replacing galvanised stanchions, pulpit rails, pushpit and boom gallows with custom made stainless steel. Replacing sprayhood, sail cover, UV strip on the jib and having a cockpit tent made. Replacing compass, VHF, log and sounder. Fitting a chart plotter and cockpit GPS repeater. Fitting an intelligent split charger and replacing both batteries. Replacing navigation lights external cable with tinned cable and fitting new VHF aerial. Stripping spars and re-varnishing with seven coats of Epiphanes. Having all iron mast and spar fittings blasted and re-galvanised. Renewing most running rigging. Replacing propellor shaft, engine coupling, flexible coupling, internal seal and cutlass bearing and fitting a galvanic isolator. Anno domini dictates that this should be the end of my list, there will be further jobs each year for her next owner, but I believe her to be well placed to continue sailing for many years to come.”
