*PERFECT LIVEABOARD / HOUSEBOAT* and very capable sailing yacht. She was piloted single-handed from the USA to the UK in 2005!

CSY 37 (B plan) liveaboard yacht built in 1979. Solid GRP hull. Fin keel.

We've been living aboard Someday for almost 5 years now, and the previous owners lived aboard for 11. She is the absolute perfect liveaboard for 2 people but berths 6 if required. We are only selling because our marina is no longer accepting liveaboards otherwise we would happily be keeping her for much longer. There is tons of room inside, as the interior uses the full width of the boat (12ft). The layout is also incredibly well thought out and everywhere you look there is a cubby or a drawer that boosts the storage. There are lots of quaint original features, such as brass portholes and oil lamps, which give this boat lots of homely character. If you want a home that everyone loves, this is it.

The cockpit has a bespoke removable canvas cover that turns the area into a separate room - a dry place for putting your outside things and also a spacious place for outside entertaining. There are waterproof cushions for seating at least 6.

The galley is incredibly spacious for a boat of this size. It utilises a full U shape counter with a large double sink (which allows for one to be used as a draining board) and a Seagull IV filter tap (essential for ensuring safe drinking water). There is a large top-loading double 12v fridge/freezer, a three-ring hob Dometic Moonlight 3 gas oven, a deep and spacious top loading cupboard and plenty of extra storage space with racks for crockery, cups and glasses.

The navigation station has a half size chart table with good storage below. All the instruments are at hand, including computer storage with a good sized monitor, 12v switch panel, battery switch, 240v socket, overhead white/red 12v light, circuit breakers for 240v and EPIRB storage. It also doubles up as a great office area/gaming station!

The saloon area has a large solid wood double drop leaf table that very comfortably seats 6, or sleeps 4 (when the bunk bed is folded out, and the slats are put in that turns the L-shaped sofa into a double bed). Lots of storage in drawers, rear lockers and table. Plenty of 240v lights and plug sockets with USB and also 12v lights. Wall-mounted TV stand suitable for up to 32” TV.

The master cabin has a double berth (double-bed-sized memory foam mattress atop slats for aeration) to port and loads of storage to starboard. Beautiful 240v lights, plug sockets with USB and 12v lights. Double wardrobe with interior lights, 6 drawers, 2 cubbys and large shelf. A LOT of underbed storage.

The head is perfectly situated in the forward V making great use of the narrow space with a sit down shower, Jabsco full size toilet, stainless sink and plenty of storage port and starboard. There is also a wall mounted 240v fan heater, 12v and 240v lights and razor charging socket.

The exterior is beautiful in maroon and cream with 6 hatches, brass portholes, large cockpit and carved wooden name plates and bow decoration. The boat is mostly GRP, and therefore low on maintenance. We have recently repainted the exterior wood with 5 year yacht paint.
