Motor BoatsDay BoatsavailableOcqueteau
For sale is this French built Ocqueteau ‘Boum’ cuddy/fast fisher/day boat.
Complete with two wheel unbraked road trailer with adjustable guide rails for easy launching/recovery.
This boat can be safely and legally towed with a saloon/estate car of 1400cc+ although the larger the car the easier.
The boat has a manual start 15hp Yamaha Enduro engine running on petrol 2 stroke pre mix fuel (100:1) , which starts easily and runs very sweetly and wheel steering with remote throttle/forward & reverse control.
Fixed tank and fuel feed is installed in cockpit.
Electrics are installed along with a dismountable display 12v Humminbird Matrix 12 electronic combined depth/gps/fishfinder system to help you to navigate to your fishing area and find the fish.
The depth sounder and GPS aerials are permanently installed as is the mount for the display.
She doesn’t have a BSC as she has been used in coastal waters but given the simple open cockpit fuel setup and no fixed gas installation, a BSC would be a formality.
The cuddy is equipped with two rudimentary bunks, ventilators, clampable porthole windows and a bilge pump should it ever be required. Surprisingly for a boat, the cuddy has no leaks.
The boat comes with adequate lines/warps, an anchor with chain and rope for mooring for fishing.
It also has a drop down auxiliary outboard bracket which will take an additional out board up to 10hp.
Equipment also includes a new (unused) portalooo, bunk mattresses, spare trailer whee l, two installed rod rests in the large cockpit (approx. 62” x 74” ) and rotating helm seat as well as moulded fibreglass seats each side of the cockpit.
The build quality of this boat has to be seen and she has not had any significant damage and is a tough boat.
You can just enjoy messing about on the river/inshore waters or do some serious fishing with this boat.
It will (local speed limits permitting) get you to your destination quickly and then float in not much water while you swim/fish/sunbathe whatever.
