It all starts with water! Time to pick up some waves and paddle your way to fun and relaxation…
Stand up paddle boarding or SUP is one of the fastest growing water sports. A combination of kayaking and surfing, this sport involves standing upright on a board and using a paddle to propel yourself. Stand up paddle boards are longer, wider, and more buoyant than traditional surfboards, which enables you to comfortably and easily balance on them.
Stand up paddling on a Jobe board is an incredible exercise routine. You can easily traverse a few miles and burn hundreds of calories an hour under recreational conditions. And you will work out a variety of muscle groups, whilst your core strength and balance will also improve. Best of all, this is a low-impact sport, so your joints are protected. It's a full body workout that most other sports can't offer.
Whether you wish to enjoy the peace of your own company, go SUP with a buddy or even hang out with a group, exploring local bays, coves, lakes and rivers is for the curious and adventurous. When you SUP you achieve a pure sense of freedom and escapism: no noise, no traffic, no pollution, just the water. A sense of wellbeing is immediate.
Jobe inflatable stand up paddle boards (iSUPs) are manufactured from layers of PVC plastic with woven fibres connecting to the top and bottom inside the board and are highly rigid once inflated. Jobe inflatable paddle board packages provide everything you need, they are ideal for transportation and everything can be easily packed and carried in Jobe’s specially designed iSUP waterproof backpack.
