For sale is my beautiful ex trawler Sally-Ann
Over the past three owners we have all converted her a little more. Now it’s your go!
My reason for sale is that unfortunately I am moving away for work and will no longer be able to work on her so it’s unfair that I leave her when someone else could be making her into the beautiful boat full of character.

The engine is a Cummins 6 cylinder V6 which runs and sounds beautiful. I’ve never had a problem starting it up or whilst running. It was serviced with new belts 2 years ago. The engine is supplied by twin 1200 litre fuel tanks. The engine bay is also fitted with a fire suppression system for safety allowing owner/crew to avoid the engine room entirely in case of fire. All mechanical fluids have been drained and refilled with new approximately 2 months ago.
Electrically she’s all good. I have three large solar panels which are ready to be installed. The plugs and lights work off shore power which I intended to change to solar so she could be completely off grid. The bilge pumps are separate and all on float switches that barely have to be used
There is one huge water tank under the bench in the movie room which powers the toilet, kitchen and shower. Lasts with normal usage for about 4 weeks.
A brief history. She was built in Grimsby in 1942 as Janet Jansen, a trawling vessel for the North Sea. Built stronger than most as she was designed for rough seas and even ice! She was then moved to Bristol where the first owner converted her into his liveaboard. It was then sold to someone who wanted to take her to London to convert into a luxury Thames house. Unfortunately no work was done before she was towed round so some of the seams started to seep on her way round. The crew panicked and called the RNLI who towed it into Bristol where the seams were re-done. It was then sold and the underneath re-caulked 9 years ago. She was then moved to Cardiff where the marina there put an extra reinforcement on the bow for towing. She was then sold again and it has remained in Cardiff ever since.
She’s all ready to go with loads of spares and paint included, just needs someone with more time than me who can give her what she deserves
