The Aquastar 38 Aft Cabin layout offers up to six berths in three cabins, heated throughout Eberspacher 5Kw fitted in 2011, multi colour upholstery, curtains and carpeted throughout. Water heated by calorifer and immersion heater.
FORWARD CABIN: Large V berth, hanging locker, mirror, storage lockers and opening hatch to deck.
HEADS COMPARTMENT: Two separate heads with marine toilet, holding tank (with deck discharge), washbasin, shower, extractor fan, mirror and stowage.
GALLEY AND LOWER DINETTE: U-shaped galley with high quality work surfaces, equipped with 3-burner gas cooker grill and oven, refrigerator, with stainless steel sinks, extractor fan and ample stowage space. The dinette opposite to port has a table with folding leaves and converts to a double berth if required. Steps lead up to main saloon.
WHEELHOUSE SALOON: Chart table to port. Helm position to starboard with full engine instrumentation, highly adjustable helm seat on swinging bracket and opening door to side deck. Spacious seating area to port, teak table with folding leaves and further storage. Sideboard entertainment unit offering further valuable storage to starboard. Steps up to fly bridge and steps down to aft cabin.
AFT CABIN: Large island double berth, dressing table and excellent storage in two hanging lockers and various drawers. Opening hatch to deck. En-suite heads compartment with marine toilet, holding tank (with deck discharge), washbasin, shower, mirror and stowage.
Three seperate aircon units have been fitted in the forward cabin, saloon anf aft cabin.
Aquastar Ranger 38 Aft Cabin version built by Aquastar Ltd in 1985 White coloured GRP semi displacement hull with long keel profile, blue styling stripe, substantial rubbing strakes. White GRP superstructure with flybridge. Teak deck surfaces. Teak laid aft deck. Dual helm wheel steering.
Located under the wheelhouse sole, twin Volvo D4 six cylinder 260hp turbo diesel engines fitted new in 2011, 4.8 gallons an hour @ 10 knots. Freshwater cooled via heat exchangers. Twin shaft drives with rope cutters and 4-bladed propellers. Dual station hydraulic steering. Bennett trim tabs. Vetus Sport bowthruster 2015. Engine hours are approximately 500+. The engine was last serviced 2019. It has two x 300 litre fuel tanks.
7 x 12v batteries (5 x 110AH new in March 2020) Batteries charged via engine alternators. Shore power system with 240 volt ring mains, immersion coil for water heating, battery charger new in March 2020. Atlas 1500 watt inverter also fitted. TV DVD with Trans satellite TV tracking system. 4.5 Kva generator fitted in 2015 34 hours, last serviced 2018.
