She is a very pretty boat and unfortunately the pictures of her ashore dont do her justice. She was purchased in Holland by her present owner when he was in the country looking at another boat. She caught his eye thanks to her hull shape, sea worthiness and attractive lines. Within the day he had her and after some engine servicing, a fuel change and provisions on board she was on her way across the North Sea.
Her big attraction was her method of construction. She is round bilged and the welds are nigh on invisible. Below the water line she is a minimum of 8mm whilst above she is a generous 6mm. Welded bilge plates to accommodate anodes. Box plate constructed rudder attached to prop protector. Transom has rubber D-fendering protection. The engine is fresh water cooled from her two water ballast saddle tanks built into the hull. The advantage of this system is there are no through hull fittings to worry about and it provides radiator heating to the cabin and wheelhouse. Deep safe cockpit, wide side decks and a large foredeck all protected by large diameter, stainless steel rails. Deck scuppers port and starboard. Painted rub rail. Foredeck hatch with water tight lid. Stainless steel mooring bollards. The whole boat has had a paint job. The hull topsides are finished in smart blue with white trim, the decks are grey, the wheelhouse sparkling white and the antifoul in traditional red/brown.
Steel wheelhouse painted in white with an orange roof. Stainless steel grab handles on roof. Toughened glass, 3 panel windscreen and glass side screens. Traditional wooden mast. Large self bailing cockpit with timber box unit holding the NEW 3Kva generator. Lid acts as a gutting table. Painted "goal post" style gantry with net drum and trawl net. New gearbox on net drum. New deck wash system including pump, fitted in 2019. Engines & Electrics
The engine is a Ford Lehman 120 diesel. This fresh water cooled, naturally aspirated workhorse is in tip top condition and recently serviced. The boat, although not the quickest, will happily motor at 7-8 knots in most conditions. At this speed she will be burning a measly 1.5-2 gallons per hour, giving excellent range from her self levelling, 2x 300 gallon tanks.
The engine is mid mounted and can be accessed from through the saloon floor or for quickness and daily checks from the engine access hatch in the cockpit. 2:1 PRM reduction gearbox with stainless steel shaft driving 3-bladed bronze propeller. New cutlass bearing fitted in 2019.
12/220V system with 2x12V, 140 amph heavy duty batteries providing engine start and domestic power. As previously mentioned there is a brand NEW 2020, 3Kva diesel generator providing 220v if required. There is also a Victron Energy 12/240V battery charger/shore power/Inverter which allows you to run 240V systems when at sea. Batteries fitted with a rotary style selector/isolator.
