Sailing BoatsMultihull SailboatsTwinsModel 43
Star was designed and sailed by Pat Patterson for several years with many Ocean passages, including cruising to Australia and New Zealand, proving her seaworthiness. Pat’s son Pip took the boat over in 2004 and gradually refurbished the boat and changed the rig from Schooner to ketch rig, which included new masts, rigging and sails, this improved her sailing performance and ease of handling. With twin diesels she is very manoeuvrable despite her size. She has recently cruised down the French and Spanish coasts, and spent several summers on the Scillies. The spacious comfortable accommodation makes Star the perfect boat for Blue Water Cruising or a live aboard.
