The Contessa 34 comes from the successful Jeremy Rogers yard and are a well proven offshore capable cruiser. Built upon the same proven hull as her sister ship the 34 OOD but fitted out to a higher standard with a shallower keel, deck-stepped mast and full skeg hung rudder. The accommodation offers 7 berths in two cabins with 6'1" maximum headroom. Forepeak V-berth with infill, beneath berth storage. Hanging locker to starboard with heads compartment opposite fitted with a marine toilet and washbasin. The saloon offers comfortable seating for 6/7 adults at a U-shaped settee to port and a settee berth to starboard around a large table with folding leaves, good storage is provided beneath the settees and in various lockers and cupboards. Galley to port equipped with a Plastimo stainless steel gimballed 2-burner gas cooker with grill and oven, stainless steel sink with pressurised cold water, good stowage throughout. Chart table to starboard with double cabin aft.
Located behind the companionway steps, 1983 Volvo 2003, 3-cylinder, 28hp diesel engine. Single lever controls with electric start. Saildrive drive to 2-bladed fixed propeller. 100 Litre steel fuel tank. Engine serviced Spring 2020. The saildrive diaphragm was last changed in 2014.

Contessa 34 built in approximately 1983 by Contessa Yachts to a Doug Peterson design. Light grey GRP injection moulded hull. grey superstructure with moulded non-slip decks. Cast iron fin keel with increased weight and shallower draught compared with the 34 OOD. Tiller steering to spade hung rudder. Self draining cockpit.
