Sailing BoatsArchambaultModel A35United Kingdom
"AMIGOS" the Archambault 35, is a very tidy example of these ever-popular cruiser racers.
Located on the South coast of the UK, she has been competitively campaigned under IRC with great success and strong results for both "Amigos" and her sister-ships proves how much these boats have to offer.
A real "all-rounder", with design and styling ahead of her years, these A35's are showing no signs of slowing down and could be a great option for a passionate racer, or someone that is looking for a mix of racing and weekend cruising with the family.
Recently anti-fouled and available to view at any time.

Accommodation
The 3 cabin layout has 6 berths with a main saloon, and two aft cabins.
There is an open plan fore-cabin with double berth and storage, the saloon with two single settee berths with lee clothes and central folding table, galley to port with sink, cold box and gas stove and two aft cabins with a double berth and toilet and basin.
There is also an adjustable pipecot berth on the stb side, as a proper double bunk to port.
There is a chart table with internal laptop storage, reading lamp, control panel and VHF radio.
The interior is in excellent condition with a full set of new cushions, some of which remain unused.
The table has been removed to reduce weight whilst racing and the boat is kept in a "racing" mode, so a lot of the interior surfaces have been well preserved.
Large windows on both sides of the coach roof give a light and airy feel and the open plan design of the A35, lends itself very well for the mix of racing and cruising.

Rig
The rig is an Aluminium double spreader mast by Soromap with Dyform rigging which was removed from the boat last year and overhauled to satisfy insurance requirements after 10 years.
The head sail foil is a single racing foil which was fitted to the boat in 2017 and all the running rigging was updated at that time.
This boat has a carbon bow sprit which is retractable as well as a Forespar Ultra Carbon Spinnaker Pole so she can be sailed with both Asymmetric and Symmetrical spinnakers, depending on owners preference and of course the type of race courses that are being targetted.
Overall the standing rigging looks to be in great order to a boat of this age and has been well maintained and updated by the current owners.
An example of this being the recent installation of mast doublers around the spreader bases, to improve longevity.
