The Beneteau First 30 offers 5 Berths in two cabins, the saloon has 2 single settee berths and a quarter berth on the starboard side. Good headroom in the saloon leads to the forward cabin which has a double V berth, with good storage space all round. Located between the saloon and the forward cabin on the port side is the marine toilet with wash basin.
The main saloon incorporates a central double drop sided table, located on the port side is the galley with sink, a two-burner gas hob with grill. On the starboard side is the chart table. The saloon is finished with wooden floors throughout, with cloth upholstery, curtains and a door separate the saloon from the forward cabin. Saloon has approx. 6ft headroom sloping down to 5Ft in he forward cabin.
The cockpit is large for the size of boat and has a reasonable amount of storage space.
This Beneteau First 30 was designed by Andre Mauric and built by Beneteau in 1979. The boat has a GRP hull, deck and superstructure. Cast iron fin keel with spade rudder and tiller steering.
This masthead sloop has a aluminium deck stepped mast and boom with stainless steel standing rigging with adjustable backstay (2014). Slab reefing mainsail with furling genoa. Spinnaker Pole. 2 x two speed genoa winches, 2 x two speed spinnaker winches, 2 x single speed halyard winches. 2 x single speed reefing and main sheet winches.
The Beneteau First is powered by a 1996 Volvo MD7B diesel engine 17hp, Shaft drive to a 3 blade Maxi prop folding propellor, new exhaust overheat alarm 2015, last serviced March 2018, new water pump seals, new impeller, and stuffing box replaced. Engine will be serviced before she is launched in April/May 2020.
