    The smallest Fisher in the range, this Classic motorsailer is no less impressive than her larger sister yachts. With a surprisingly roomy interior and space for up to 5 berths, the quality of these traditional cruisers is unrivalled. The star feature of the Fisher range, has to be the wheelhouse, enabling you to sail inclement weather in comfort. With a modernised spec, and a choice between a sloop or ketch rig, this sea-worthy yacht is capable of longer passages than you would expect at first glance.

    Accommodation :
    FORECABIN - There are two full length single berths with a double berth infill with storage lockers beneath. The chain locker is forward of the berths with an access trap fitted in the bulkhead. One opening port on each side of the coach roof. 2 berth lights on the bulkhead plus an overhead light. Paneled door to saloon. Ventilator to deck. Opening skylight hatch. Two small shelves at the head of each berth. There are two lockers aft of each berth, one is a hanging locker, the other has shelves for storage.
    TOILET (AFT AND TO STARBOARD)  - T he separate toilet compartment is to port with a large bowl marine toilet and wash basin. The work surface in granite. Hot and cold water is supplied from the pressure pump. There is a shower operating from the mixer taps and a shower tray with a teak grating over which drains into the bilge sump. The following are also fitted: A locker outboard has shelves and slide opening Perspex doors. Fixed overhead light. Mirror over wash basin. Cup holder. Concealed toilet roll holder. One opening coach roof window. There is access from the toilet compartment to the engine room space via a sound proofed door.

    Main Saloon
    An ‘L’ shaped settee is to port with lockers and stowage outboard under the side deck. The settee can be used as a berth. There is stowage below with drawers and behind the settee back. The saloon table can extend aft. Overhead and reading lights are provided There are teak curtain pelmets and grab rails outboard. There are two opening windows in the coach roof and a ventilation hatch over.

    The galley is to starboard in the saloon. It is fitted with: A 2 burner cooker with grill and oven and failsafe on all burners. Twin stainless steel sinks (one half size) supplied with pressurized hot and cold water from the pressure pump. Cupboards behind and outboard of the worktop which are fitted with smoked Perspex fronted sliding doors. Top opening refrigerator. Plate and cup storage. Drawers and lockers for food storage. Overhead vent. Overhead lights. Two opening windows and an opening hatch over. Laminated work surfaces. Teak fiddle rails. Gas shut off valve adjacent to cooker.

    Quarter Cabin
    There is a cabin to port with a double berth. The following are fitted: General clothes storage locker with shelves. Hanging locker. Overhead light and berth reading light. One opening window and an opening port to the wheelhouse. Ventilator to deck. Mirror on the aft forward facing bulkhead.

    The central steering position with main instrument console is in the wheelhouse with a helmsman’s seat. There is a settee to port with a chart working space forward and a full length settee to starboard with a deep stowage locker under the starboard side aft. The wheelhouse table folds down to stow against the aft bulkhead. Stowage lockers are built into the forward end of the wheelhouse console under the chart working space. Chart storage is provided under the port settee. Clear Perspex wheelhouse skylight with optional slide opening panel at additional cost.
    The specification is believed to be correct at the time of printing but the Builder reserves the right to make alterations without notice. Such alterations will not be considered applicable to yachts delivered. Construction contracts and terms of business are available for inspection on request.

    The cockpit is an integral part of the GRP deck moulding. It is self draining through two 38 mm bore drains with valves at the hull. Hinged lockers are fitted in the seat tops to give access to the stowage lockers and the steering gear beneath. The gas locker is fitted in the cockpit coaming and is vented overboard. A slatted teak flooring is fitted on the sole.

    Inventory :
    1. CONSTRUCTION 1.1.   The hull is a heavy-duty hand laid GRP moulding, which includes a clear gel coat underwater. The cast iron ballast is encapsulated in the GRP keel and glassed over with further laminates to form an integral part of the hull structure.
    1.2.   The deck is a heavy-duty hand laid GRP moulding. Plywood stiffening is incorporated in all horizontal areas. Heavily stressed areas are additionally reinforced. The deck is bonded to the hull.
    1.3.   The bulkheads are laminated to the deck and hull resulting in a strong and integrated unit.
    1.4.   The cockpit is an integral part of the GRP deck moulding is self draining through overboard drains.
    1.5.   A hatch is fitted in aft bulkhead to give access to stowage lockers.
    1.6.   A separate, drained gas locker is integral in the moulding in the starboard side of the seat.
    1.7.   Heavy double skin GRP bulwarks, incorporating the hull to deck joint, are an integral part of the deck and capped with 25mm thick teak. A teak rubbing strake and teak bulwark cladding is fitted. Teak is left treated with teak oil.
    1.8.   The hull and deck are moulded in the colours as per customer selection available from stock and to be advised 2. TANKS 2.1.   Diesel fuel: A single stainless steel tank complete with baffles of approximately 182 litres (40 gallons) is installed below the cockpit sole. A fuel contents gauge is fitted in the instrument panel. The tank is vented overboard.
    2.2.   Fresh Water: One flexible or GRP tank approximately 100 litres (22 gallons) is installed under the forward bunk. 3. PLUMBING 3.1.    Cold water is supplied by a pressure system to taps at the galley sink,Hot water supplied to toilet and external showers.
    3.2.   A manual bilge pump is fitted in the aft cockpit locker and is piped from the bilge sump to a hull discharge fitting.
    Additional submersible electric pump fitted to engine room bilge.
    3.3.   All through hull fittings are bronze and where below the waterline have seacocks or ball valves fitted. 4. ELECTRICS 4.1.   The two heavy-duty12-volt batteries are fitted with isolator switches. They are stowed in a sealed battery box in the port side of the engine room. One battery is for engine starting and the other for domestic systems. The batteries are charged from the 125 Amp/Hr. engine driven alternator. The wiring loom is colour coded and all circuits are fully protected and controlled by blade glass fuse with monitoring LED on the main panel mounted on the steering console.
    4.2.   Cabin lighting is provided throughout the accommodation as follows:- Two berth lights in the fore cabin; one overhead light in the toilet; two overhead lights in the saloon; two reading lights; two overhead light in the wheel-house and the galley. All interior lighting LED.
    4.3.   Courtesy step lights and LED strip lighting fitted to interior. Deck courtesy exterior lighting fitted to gunwhale sides and cockpit.
    4.4.   Navigation lights are fitted as follows- Port & Starboard navigation lights fitted in teak shield boxes on wheelhouse; stern light fitted on the push pit; masthead all round white light and steaming light.
    4.5.   Electrical provision kept for fitting of VHF. and GPS.  5. DECK FITTINGS 5.1.   The following are fitted:
    5.1.1.  Stainless steel pulpit, push pit and 6 stanchions with stainless steel wire (plastic sheathed) lifelines.
    5.1.2.  Heavy-duty stainless steel stem head fitting incorporates forestay and headsail attachment points and anchor roller in which the anchor will stow.
    5.1.3.  Large mooring cleat on foredeck in specially reinforced area, two mooring cleats forward with fairleads and two bollards aft. Mid ship cleat fitted. Through-bolted headsail tracks on coaming.
    5.1.4.  Two sheet winches at cockpit.
    5.1.5.  12 kg spade anchor with 30metres 8mm calibrated chain fitted. Midrange rope/chain anchor electric winch.  Maxwell RC 8 or suitable make).
    5.1.6.  All working areas including, foredeck, side decks, aft deck, cockpit seats covered with Ceylon teak planking. Wheelhouse and coach roof tops in plain GRP.
    5.1.7.  Teak fore and aft handrails on wheelhouse roof.
    5.1.8.  Teak grating on cockpit sole
    5.1.9.  Two stainless steel dorade ventilators and two mush room type vents. Water filler in starboard side deck and fuel filler in aft deck.  6. WINDOWS AND PORTLIGHTS 6.1.    Window frames and portlights are anodized aluminium alloy, glazed with toughened glass. The following are fitted:-
    6.1.1   Wheelhouse: Seven windows,
    Front (one opening middle), one each fixed port and starboard,
               Sides sliding one each port and starboard,
               Aft one fixed
                        Wheel house door one fixed
                          Wheel house roof one sliding hatch
    6.1.2   Fore cabin: One opening hatch
    6.1.3   Toilet: One opening portlight
    6.1.4   Galley: One opening portlight
    6.1.5   Saloon: Two opening portlights

      7. INTERIOR JOINERY & COVERINGS 7.1.   All the interior joinery is solid Ceylon teak and teak veneered plywood.
    7.2.   Galley and toilet top surfaces are in granite. 8. HULL LININGS 8.1.   Overhead linings are vinyl upholstered plywood panels in the cabins and in the wheel house which are detachable for access. The hull side fore cabin GRP paneling and hanging lockers linings are of foam backed matching vinyl. 9. COVERINGS 9.1.   All cushions are upholstered in colour coordinated high-grade fire retardant fabrics. Teak parquet floor deck is fitted on all cabin soles and on the wheel house floor.

    10. OUTLINE INVENTORY 10.1.   In addition to items mentioned in the specification the yacht is complete with the following:

    Mechanical :
    1. ENGINE 1.1.   Yanmar 3YM30 3 cylinder, naturally aspirated, diesel propulsion engine developing 30 HP at 3,600 rpm with a swept volume of 1123 cc is complete with reduction gearbox. The engine is freshwater cooled and fitted with a water-cooled exhaust with water lock type silencer. The engine is mounted on anti-vibration mounts secured to a steel reinforced GRP engine bed, which is bonded to the hull.
    1.2.   A bronze stern tube with water lubricated cutlass bearing is fitted carrying a 1 inch diameter stainless steel shaft driving a 3 bladed bronze propeller. A zinc sacrificial anode is fitted to reduce stern gear corrosion.
    1.3.   The engine is situated below the wheelhouse with access via lifting hatches in the wheelhouse sole. The engine space is soundproofed.

    2. STEERING GEAR 2.1.   Wheel steering from the wheelhouse is linked to the rudder by a rotary drive mechanical steering system.
    2.2.   A removable teak tiller can be fitted in the cockpit and the wheel steering system linkage quickly disconnected for light tiller steering.
    2.3.   The rudder is a GRP moulding with bronze pintles and stainless steel tiller hood.

    3. SAILS & RIGGING 3.1.   The sloop rig is standard. The spars are silver anodized aluminium alloy with stainless steel and alloy fittings.
    3.2.   The standing rigging is 1 x 19 stainless steel wire with stainless bottle screws.
    3.3.   Running rigging of pre-stretched braidline.The following are supplied:-
    3.4.   Mainsail and genoa halyards, Mainsail and genoa sheets, topping lift, Kicking strap, Burgee and signal halyards. 02 Nos.Head sail winches.3.5.   A Furlex or equivalent genoa reefing system (optional)
    3.6.   Mainsail and reefing genoa in white or Tan Terylene sailcloth.
    3.7.   Sail cover for mainsail.
    3.8    Ketch Version offered as an extra boat option consisting of additional Mast and sails aft of the Wheel house as shown below.
