    The Moody 33 Mk II was a well built and spacious family cruiser which has been upgraded for long distance sailing. It boasts 7 comfortable berths with a separate aft cabin. Solar panels, wind generator and wind vane self steering are some of the upgrades the boat has to offer. Viewing by appointment at our Suffolk Office (IP10 0LN) - - Phone number removed -

    Accommodation
    7 berths in 2 cabins , forward and aft, with 3 berths in the main saloon area. Dark varnished wood interior with light blue diamond check upholstery. New laminate wooden sole boards. In the bow is a V berth with storage underneath and deck opening hatch. Aft of that on the starboard side is the heads. Basin and mirror on forward bulkhead. Marine toilet and pressurised water. Small hanging locker opposite to port and a single settee berth aft of that. On the midships starboard side, is a large dinette with double drop leaf table, with the settee turning into a double berth. Remote bladder water tank underneath. Aft of the starboard settee is the chart table with plenty of equipment on offer for navigation. Lots of storage and shelving around. Aft port of the main saloon is a L shaped galley with gimballed gas cooker. Twin hob burner, grill and oven. 12v fridge. Stainless steel sink. In the aft of the vessel, access from the cockpit, is a twin berth separate cabin. Webasto diesel fired heater.
    Mechanical Systems
    Located under the centre cockpit is the Thornycroft 90 Diesel Engine (original), 35 hp, shaft driven. 3191 engine hours. 40 gallon (approximately) steel fuel tank. Single lever control. Last serviced April 2018. Good access. 5 knot cruising speed.
    Electrical Systems
    12v DC system. 240v ring mains with battery charger and inverter. 2 x house batteries and 1 x engine start. Charging via solar panels, wind generator, alternator and battery charger.

Slab reefed mainsail with lazy jacks and stack pack. 2 spinnaker poles. Removable inner forestay for hank on storm jib. Profurl headsail furling unit. White GRP superstructure with painted non-slip to deck. Cast iron fin keel. Skeg hung rudder. Wheel steering. Two cockpit lockers with good storage. Self draining gas bottle locker.
