Yachts and Yachting magazine review said of the Nantucket Clipper back in 1970 'She is a fine yacht in her own right, but with a special appeal to anyone seeking something a little different from the average.'
What a classy classic clipper, she's out of the water so ready to be surveyed, when you're ready to launch her, her masts and sails are nearby and keen to be put to work. A solid honest boat, mainly original however with the modified forward cabin which suited the previous owners requirements. The owner won't leave you high and dry and is happy to help get her ready to sail off into the solent.
Manual water system
Heads x1 (Manual)
x1 halyard winches
x2 sheet winches
x1 bilge pumps (Manual)
I see absolutely no reason why the Nantucket Clipper should not be included amongst the growing list of modern-day classics.
This is a solid cruiser from the well respected pen of Alan Buchanan that has produced something just that little bit special, just that little bit different from the normal production line boats that are all too prevalent today. She exudes a degree of class, a gentleman's cruiser capable of taking on anything.
Just the boat for you to turn into your man-cave or for you to teach your small family the ropes.
