    Lee Biju is a 1975 Westerly Pagent. She is a bilge keel sloop. In September of 1970, in his column in Practical Boat Owner magazine Denny Desoutter wrote of the Pageant “Pageant offers cruising comfort, though all has been packed into a very modest space” He observed that “both boats show evidence of careful thought to the likely desires of their owners in below deck amenities”. Which in 1970 were very modern, minimalist and open-plan. Lee Biju's engine was replace in 2014 with a more powerful 14hp model, when at the same time her standing rigging was replaced.

    Last Survey
    The hull was examined by visual means and by light sounding to determine any voids or delamination – none were found.
    The unwater section was found to be coated in a well adhered blue antifouling paint
    When subjected to a Tramex Meter the underwater section returned high reading this is to be expected in a vessel of this age.

    Mast and spares (2019) removed and the mast step extensively refurbished, and the mast installed and checked. Richardson’s, invoices for work carried out are available for inspection.

    Solar panel, wiring checking and refurbished and indicator panel renewed September 2017. (main engine).
    Foredeck windlass, installed prior to my ownership. Not standard for these vessels and it’s very useful.

    Swim ladder.
    Larger than original cockpit winches x 2.
    New shore power socket and cable 2019.
    Paddle boards inside the cockpit well, refurbished 2019.

    Mainsail cover, serviceable but could do with new elastic and a new clip.
    Dodgers with LEEBIJU in white letters, currently stored inside the boat.

    Stereo and speakers.
    VHF Radio.
    Lowrance GlobalNav 310 with instructions.
    Depth instrument of similar size and design.
    Raymarine autohelm.
    Electric water pump.
    1 main engine battery and 1 x leisure battery but space for a 3rd.
    Battery charger installed May 2019.
    New battery support cage Sept 2017
    3 x USB points installed by Wroath Marine March 2019
    1 x double main socket. By Wroath marine March 2019
    Sink and tap.
    Water pump.
    Mahogany work surface (where the gas stove would have been). This has been removed for safety reasons and there is a brand-new gas camping stove and gas canisters for use in the cock pit.
    Cold box under seating.

    Upholstery replaced 2019.
    4” foam and pale blue cover (FFR label).
    Carpets replaced May 2019 (second set of new spares included).
    A new infill section to make the forepeak bed more useable
    Teak shelves which go where the picture is in the photograph.
    Wall mounted brass clock and barometer.
    New insert/drop boards for the companion way but they need the grills, and the lock fitting.
    Seacocks for the heads and the main engine replaced 2017
    Selection of anchors and tools.
