    The Westerly Seahawk is a well built centre cockpit cruiser offering comfortable accommodation for two couples with extra berths for two more. Designed by Ed Dubois, they have proved to be a weatherly, stiff boat with a comfortable motion, easily handled by a couple.     Accommodation
    The layout offers up to seven berths with two double sleeping cabins separate from the main accommodation. There is good ventilation, excellent stowage and full standing headroom forward of the cockpit. In the forecabin, V berth with stowage under. Opening hatch to deck. Separate heads to starboard with marine toilet, shower and washbasin. Hanging locker opposite. In salon, settee berth to port with dinette opposite (converts to double berth). Fixed table with drop leaves. Opening hatch to deck. Chart table to pot with galley opposite. Two burner gimballed gas cooker with grill and oven. Twin stainless steel sinks with hot and cold pressurised water supply. 272 litre freshwater capacity. Refrigerator. Walk-through to the aft cabin. Good sized double berth to starboard with settee opposite. Opening hatch to deck. Hanging locker. Eberspacher diesel fired hot air central heating.
    Mechanical Systems
    Located in engine room under the cockpit, Beta Marine B-35HE four cylinder 35hp diesel engine, fitted new in 2013 by Seapower Marine. Approximately 190 hours running time. Electric start. Freshwater cooled via heat exchanger. Shaft drive to two bladed propeller. 160 litre fuel capacity giving approximately 300 mile range at 6 knots cruising speed. Maximum speed under power 7 knots. Single lever control. Full service history in her present ownership (17 years), last serviced March 2017. The boat is wintered ashore every year between November and April.

    Built in 1988 by Westerly Yachts to a design by Ed Dubois. White GRP hull with style stripes. Teak rubbing strake. White GRP superstructure with painted non-slip to deck. Cast iron fin keel. Spade hung rudder. Wheel steering. Centre self draining cockpit. 2008 survey.
    Additional Comments
    In her present ownership for 17 years, with only one previous owner. Based on the East Coast and mainly cruised locally, the owner has been meticulous with her maintenance. A much loved and well presented example of these well-built cruisers and only for sale as the owner is retiring from sailing.
