The Beneteau First 325 is an attractive fast cruising boat from the board of Jean Berret. Built by Beneteau in 1986. Fin keeled, tiller steered yacht with the modern layout of a double cabin forward, double cabin aft and an after heads. White GRP hull with style lines and boot top lines. White GRP deck and superstructure with moulded in non slip surfaces. Cast iron, bolt on fin keel, semi balanced spade rudder with tiller steering. Self draining aft cockpit with permateak laid cockpit seats. Internal GRP structural grid and fitted with teak internal joinery.
Volvo D1 – 18hp, shaft drive, 3 cylinder diesel engine, fitted new in 2006. Freshwater cooled with heat exchanger and wet exhaust. Reversing reduction gearbox with single lever control to 2 bladed folding prop. Serviced annually and Volvo stern seal last replaced in 2014.
6 berths in 2 cabins plus saloon. Hot and cold pressurised water. Diesel fired cabin heating. Mid blue upholstery throughout. From forward: Forward cabin large v-berth with infill, locker to starboard and stowage under the berth Saloon with settee berths to port and starboard, large folding dining table with bottle stowage, stowage under settees. Rigging replaced in 2010. Silver anodised alloy twin spreader rig with slab reefing boom, Lazyjacks and Lazybag. Harken genoa furling system. Removable forestay with Seasure quick release hook. Sprung rod kicker with cascade adjusting tackle. Adjustable backstay. Adjustable genoa sheet cars. Spinnaker running gear with side deck mounted spinnaker pole. Terylene running rigging through organisers and clutches to cockpit.

The First 325 is a handsome, performance cruising yacht that has plenty of potential on a race course whilst remaining easy to cruise shorthanded. Juniper appears to have been nicely looked after and is well presented for sale.
