Production in GRP commenced in 1980 & with Salterns and continues today with Collars of Oxford. Tela’s have been known to have been exported to Australia and Spain
She can be rigged quickly & single handed with ease & trailable behind a family car.
Dinghy Magazine described stated that:'she is fast, stable, light & responsive, superb performance & enormous stability.'
The crew described her as boat you sat in rather than on and that the most nervous crew would feel at ease.
Our 2007 version was built to full specification , including a galvanised road trailer, which has never been immersed in seawater. The mahogany trim and fittings are treated with a maintenance friendly preserving oil, which also enhances her & maintains her appearance .
She had Copperbot treatment in 2009 , which appears to be still active/effective, with only minor blemishes.

This is a little used boat is in excellent condition. The Duck Egg hull & build quality is greatly admired by sailors & non sailors alike.

There is a pad to take a 2hp long shaft outboard, as well as Collars oars, bronze rollocks and side deck mountings.
