This legendary trimaran, VPLP built, takes the structural basis of the BELGACOM of 2004. Winner of the 2006 Route du Rhum with Lionel Lemonchois, and initially 60 feet long (ORMA class), it was extended to 77 feet in 2009 and thus enters the Ultimate class. Named GITANA 11, the trimaran is made for the race: she was in 2nd position during the 2007 Transat Jacques Vabre (Lemonchois-Guichard) and 4th on the 2010 Route du Rhum (Y. Guichard).
Capsized in September 2019, the trimaran is structurally unscathed and will constitute a magnificent base for a winning project in the Rhum 2022.
As it stands, with an adapted carbon mast and a second-hand boom, it is sold for € 180,000 ex-Tax.
Completely refitted, repainted and prepared with 2 masts, complete set of sails, new standing and running rigging, new trampolines, new traveler rail, revised hydraulics and electronics, sea trial, the price will be € 580,000 ex-tax.
A spare container is delivered with the boat as well as the molds of the appendices. The engine was not damaged.
Depending on the desire and the program of the buyer, it is possible to plan an accompanying crew, who knows well the boat. It is even possible to establish a permanent crew.
