    Back ground Info;
    I knew of Eurus for some years before I purchased her around 2002 (she was owned by someone I knew) and she has been used for as many weeks as possible every year ever since - sometimes 2 weeks sometimes a lot more. She has been a great boat and just what I needed during that period - in fact I worked out that we had enjoyed her for around 160 weeks since 2002, so Eurus has been a big part of my life - and that of my friends! She is of course not brand new and carries a few battle scars, but she is a very sound, attractive and strong sailing boat that has been maintained in good order - everything works as it should and is a delight to sail and cruise.

    At 34/35ft she out-sails most boats of similar length, and some significantly larger. She has a Lombardini 35hp fitted late 90’s with approx c2400hrs on it (going up in use), with a new gearbox 2 years ago. The gearbox was replaced because I thought the ‘whine’ was more pronounced than it should have been, but ironically the brand new gearbox was just about the same. Local opinion was that because the engine is so smooth and quiet it is too easy to hear the gearbox, but a noisier 2 cylinder engine would drown it out - I wish I had known that earlier!! A 4 cylinder 35hp engine is quite a decent engine for a boat of this size, so both smoothness and power are in good supply.

    She has shorepower, built-in Battery charger, and inverter, the galley has been refitted in the last 2 to 3 years with a new and much larger fridge (new cooling unit & Evaporater) and new surface throughout. Lights are mainly LED, LED navigation lights, batteries replaced 2015/2016, there is a separate stern shower and tank, Sony stereo, Avon inflatable, and solar charger. The Stbd bunk has an extension to turn it into a double bunk, should you wish. A new Lewmar anchor windless was installed last year with a new main anchor chain to suit. I use the stern anchor a lot and have incorporated a self draining under deck stowage bin with a deck hatch so the mess and clutter is hidden away (and easily washed through).

    Something that is less obvious, is that Eurus is quite a deep boat (which is partly why she is so seaworthy and sails so well) and even with my 6’4” height the headroom is excellent and moving around below is not a challenge.

    Eurus is currently based in Vliho Bay which is a super base just South of Nidri (on Levkas Island) and even with full guardianarge and winter storage the costs remain very reasonable, but any potential new owner can of course do as they wish. I have sailed all over the world but in my view this area of Greece remains one of my favourites and has a huge amount to offer the new sailor and old hand alike.

    My reason for sale is very straightforward, I am also selling a biggish boat I have in the UK and I am wishing to purchase a larger boat in Greece with a view to spending many months at a time on board as the dreaded ’60’ is just about to hit! (If you are downsizing and have a larger boat to sell, I might be interested in an part exchange).

    All manuals for equipment are held on board, as is the original main 'Jeanneau' builders manual. Documentation is all as is required for the area, and Eurus will be put into commission is 2018.
