Sailing BoatsBlue Water CruisersBeneteauFirst 47.7
This Yacht has had one owner from new, and has only been used privately. Just lifted, polished and anti-fouled (March 2020). Lying ashore.
It has been said that these yachts are capable of 8 knots upwind in 15 knots of wind. The 47.7 was exciting news from Beneteau as she raced well, but also provided comfort and space for family cruising. She is truly multi-purpose in this sense. Above deck the cockpit is large, and the big wheel makes it easy for the helmsman to steer from a sitting position. The deck itself is covered in non-slip grip, and this shows no sign of wearing. Storage lockers are huge, and she has recently had the mainsail and Genoa replaced.
Below deck she is the best we have ever seen for a 47.7. She has clearly never been raced, and her one owner has maintained her to the highest standard. In the salón there is formidable head height, as well as comfortable seating.
She has also been mechanically maintained to the highest standard and the Volvo engine has only run 300 hours since being overhauled.
There is a possibility of renting the mooring in Palma.
