Alice Fouche was professionally built to a high standard in corten steel in Genoa to a Vittorio Lombardi design in1975. She had a chequered career, twice employed for international drug-running before becoming forfeit to the Queen. Since then she has been rebuilt inside with white oak and the engine thoroughly refurbished. She is a comfortable, very sea-worthy blue-water cruiser (she was designed for ocean sailing) with one double and two single berths (plus two full-length pipe cots) in separate cabins. Additionally, the dinette converts to a double. We have enjoyed extended cruising on the west coast of Scotland with up to 6 people on board.
