The Westerly Konsort 29 is a spacious 6 berth family cruising yacht, combining a spacious interior with confidence-inspiring sea-keeping and performance. 'Lisatoo' is a desirable twin keel version with a good inventory including in-boom reefing with self-tailing winches well suited to short-handed sailing. She is priced competitively to allow for some required maintenance and upgrading, be quick as twin keel yachts of this size are rarely available for long!

Accommodation

The Westerly Konsort layout offers up to 6 berths in 2 cabins with approx. 6'1" headroom.

Forecabin with V-berth, infill to form a double, storage, and opening hatch to foredeck. Separate heads compartment to port with marine toilet, and hanging locker opposite. Saloon with two settee berths (port pulls out to form a double berth, starboard has a trotter box), with good stowage behind and beneath the berths, and a large folding table. Galley aft to starboard equipped with a Nelson two-burner gas cooker with grill and oven, stainless steel sink, insulated coolbox, and storage. Folding chart table to port with instrumentation and a generous quarter berth aft (this could even be considered a cosy double!). Light blue cotton saloon upholstery and dark blue vinyl berth upholstery with complementing curtains. Pressurised cold water system. 

Mechanical Systems

Located under the companionway, Bukh DV20 two-cylinder 20hp marine diesel engine. Seawater cooled. Single lever controls (new 2014) with electric start. Shaft drive with rope cutter (serviced 2020) to 3-bladed fixed propeller. 

The engine appears to be in good cosmetic condition and has been regularly maintained, including a new starter motor and ignition circuit in 2014 complete with an emergency bypass button below decks. It was last serviced in April 2019 and has been very lightly used since. 

Electrical Systems

2 x 12v Batteries (new engine battery 2020) charged via engine alternator. Shorepower system with RCD breaker, ring mains, and Victron Blue Power battery charger. Electrical distribution panels and voltmeter. Rotary battery switch. Full 12v cabin lighting.

Sails & Spars

Masthead rigged bermudan sloop. Deck stepped silver anodised mast and boom. Stainless steel standing rigging (new 2006). Terylene running rigging. Sailtainer in-boom furling mainsail system. Profurl headsail furling system. Lines led aft via two blocks of jammers. 2 x Lewmar 30 self-tailing sheet winches. 2 x Lewmar halyard winches at companionway (16 self-tailing and standard single speed). Gibb halyard winch on mast.

Construction

Westerly Konsort built in 1979 by Westerly Yachts Ltd. White GRP hull, superstructure, and decks with blue painted non-slip surfaces (require repainting). Cast iron twin keels. Tiller steering to transom hung rudder. Self-draining cockpit. Teak rubbing strakes and coachroof grabrails.
