A rare opportunity to own a Ted Hood designed Bristol 40 with Cutter rig. Built in 1980 in Rhode Island, Venture is a solidly built, yet elegant blue water cruiser. Inside, her mahogany interior and holly and teak sole give a traditional feel, yet she remains bright and airy. In 2015 Venture had a major refit including: new sails 2015, new rigging 2015, new chainplates 2015, and new backing plates 2015, new dinghy davits, seven new winches, new traveller and vang. Venture has only had two owners. She was hauled out in 2016 in Grenada and has not been in the water since. Her current owner has not been able to visit since Covid and the vessel is being sold ‘As Is, Where Is’.
