The Westerly Discus 33 is a versatile boat with excellent accommodation and sea keeping abilities for its size. This is desirable twin keel example has been in its current ownership for 32 years and has been much loved and maintained over the years. Early viewing is highly recommended.

7 berths in 3 cabins with 6'3" headroom. Forecabin with double V-berth and infill, lockers and storage shelves. Heads compartment to port with a marine toilet, stainless steel washbasin with hot & cold pressurised water. Hanging lockers opposite.
Main saloon with settee berths to either side of a large central folding table, the port side also converts into a double berth. Galley to starboard with a Nelson gas cooker with 2-burners, grill and oven, stainless steel sink with pressurised hot and cold water supply, top opening fridge and ample storage.
To port is the forward facing chart table with two large hanging lockers behind. The aft cabin has double berth with good ventilation.
Airtronic diesel fired warm air heating system. Brown upholstery.
Located under the cockpit, is the Volvo MD17 diesel engine. 36hp. 3 Cylinders. Electric start. Shaft drive to fixed 3-bladed propeller. 130 litre fuel tank. Single lever controls. New exhaust bend in 2018.
Masthead rigged Bermudan sloop. Deckstepped silver anodised aluminium mast and boom by Selden. Stainless steel standing rigging. Terylene running rigging. Slab reefing mainsail. Furlex headsail furling system (2014). Two Lewmar genoa sheet winches. Two Barton halyard winches.
Mast has only recently been re-stepped and will need tuning before going sailing.
Built by Westerly Marine Construction in 1982 to a Laurent Giles design. White grp hull with teak rubbing strake. White grp coachroof and grey painted non-skid decks. Twin cast iron keels. Partially skeg hung rudder. Self draining centre cockpit. Wheel steering. Teak cockpit seats. Teak cockpit grating. Hull epoxied under the waterline in 1991.
