The Oysterman 16 was designed by Paul Gartside, along the lines of the traditional Falmouth working boats. This particular boat has been upgraded to have a 24volt electric engine and has been recently repainted. She comes fully equipped with a twin axle trailer, solar panels and brand new batteries.

Simple open plan layout with two small berths, galley area with a manual water tap.
Located under the cockpit sole is the Lynch Motors electric engine, 1 HP (0.745 watts). Shaft driven to a fixed 3 bladed propeller. Stern gland repacked 2022.
A outboard bracket can be easily fitted on the transom to give the extra option for power.
Gaff rigged sloop. Deck stepped wooden mast. Wooden boom and gaff. Stainless steel standing rigging. Stainless steel spreader. Wooden bowsprit. Terylene running rigging. Wooden topsail yard.
Designed by Paul Gartside and built by Oystersailers Penryn in 1983 (No.7). GRP hull with an encapsulated long keel. Transom hung rudder with tiller steering. Blue painted topside with white boot top. Off white GRP deck with painted grey nonslip.
