Slipper Launch
Woottens 28' Thames
Tiffin is a very elegant Thames Slipper Launch built by Woottens of Cookham Dean in 1990.
In length and lines she is similar to the rare and sought-after Andrew's 30' slipper launches. She offers seating for seven with four cream coloured Lloyd-Loom chairs and a Mahogany aft bench seat all fitted with burgundy cushions piped cream. The Burgundy pram hood is supported by a fully chromed frame.

Varnished and polished mahogany topsides are comlimented by cream painted mahogany sides and unusually these Wootten's craft feature a fibreglass bottom offering exceptional practicality. The cream finish sides are offset by a burgundy boot top with newly painted green antifouling.
All deck furniture is chromed including search light, navigation lights, engine vents, and fuel filler cap.
The cockpit features glass screens, a black Brooklands style sprung steering wheel and full engine instrumentation. Varnished, polished mahogany coamings, varnshed, polished mahogany slatted cockpit sides with four demi-lune side pockets and two varnished mahogany drinks cupboards. The cockpit sole is varnished mahogany boards with fitted coir carpet.
One of the last Ford Watermota Sea Tiger petrol engine the later crossflow model running on a type 34 weber carburettor with Bosch ignition and later Swedish Johnson water pump. The engine has been serviced regularly. Additional prop shaft bearing fitted. Stainless steel fuel tank, Vetus exhaust. Finger light modern steering!
