Appelé OLIVIA, ce bateau appartient à son propriétaire actuel depuis 5 ans maintenant. Auparavant, il a eu 2 propriétaires : le premier durant 16 ans en Angleterre et le second durant 8 ans dans les Baléares. Le propriétaire actuel l'a acheté dans les Baléares en 2018 et a réalisé un refit complet en 2019.

Travaux réalisés durant le refit : nouveau pont et cockpit en tek, nouveau gréement dormant et courant, nouvelles voiles (GV, génois, code 0 et gennaker), nouveau bout dehors en carbone, nouveau dessalinisateur, nouvelle hélice et arbre d'hélice, nouvel électronique complet Raymarine, nouveau bimini et capote en sunbrella, nouveaux hublots, mat repris et repeint. Le moteur a été changé en 2020 pour un Yanmar 4JH57 avec 500 heures.

Depuis son refit, le propriétaire vit sur son bateau et l'entretien régulièrement. Il a fait de nombreux miles avec : les étés en Méditerranée, les hivers aux Canaries et il a traversé l'Atlantique à l'hiver 2022. Ce Swan 40 est un bateau exceptionnel et il est prêt à partir autour du monde et ou à faire des courses en étant très performant.

Named OLIVIA, this boat has been in the possession of her current owner for 5 years now. Previously she had two owners: the first one for 16 years in the UK and the second for 8 years in the Balearic Islands. The actual owner bought her in the Balearic Islands in 2018 and he did a complete refit of the boat in 2019.

Things done during the 2019 refit: new teak deck, new standing and running rigging, new sails (main sail, genoa, code 0 and gennaker), new carbon bowsprit, new water maker, new propeller and shaft, new batteries, new full Raymarine electronics, new bimini and spray hoods (structure and sunbrella), new methacrylate not top side hatches, new mirrors and the mast, transom and touch ups where painted. Also in 2020 the engine was changed for a Yanmar 4JH57 which has only 500 hours. After the refit, the owner has lived on board, and has been doing all the maintenance at yachting standards.

She has done a considerable amount of miles with the actual owner. Summers in the mediterranean sea and winters in Canary Islands. This winter 2022, OLIVIA crossed the Atlantic. She is ready to go around the world and to race competitively. With really hard feelings, the owner is selling her to go for a bigger project.

Während der Überholung durchgeführte Arbeiten: neues Deck und Cockpit aus Teakholz, neue ruhende und aktuelle Takelage, neue Segel (GV, Genua, Code 0 und Gennaker), neues Carbon-Äußeres, neuer Wassermacher, neuer Propeller und neue Propellerwelle, neue komplette Raymarine-Elektronik, neues Bimini und Sunbrella-Verdeck, neue Bullaugen, Mast übernommen und neu lackiert. Der Motor wurde 2020 auf einen Yanmar 4JH57 mit 500 Stunden umgestellt.

Seit seinem Umbau wohnt der Eigner auf seinem Boot und wartet es regelmäßig. Er hat viele Kilometer zurückgelegt: Sommer im Mittelmeer, Winter auf den Kanarischen Inseln und er überquerte den Atlantik im Winter 2022.
