Amberjack is an easy and satisfying yacht to sail. She revels in her ability to keep powering on in heavy seas and to stand up to her sail plan, even when you let her become slightly over-canvassed.
The Moody 42 is based on the Moody 40. The transom has been lengthened, giving larger lazarettes lockers and has increased the space on the Aft cabin.
The centre cockpit is incorporated in pretty low profile so you don’t feel too high and remote from the water. The cockpit seats are 2.1m long, and the wheel reaches to the seat edge for easy control.
Down below, the centre-cockpit layout provides a very roomy owner’s cabin aft and vee berth fore cabin, both with en suites.
