When a boat becomes a best seller for a manufacturer, there's a good reason - and the Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 54DS is no exception to this 'rule'. Built as the flagship to the range, the 54 DS lives up to Jeanneau's launch enthusiasm as she feels substantial, is easy to sail, is particularly good for the family (as they are kept out of all the major action if required) and (according to yachtandboat.com) "carries as much marina cachet as a 54 foot custom yacht". As for her ocean going capabilities, just look at the number of 54s that have taken part in the ARC over the years as evidence of that!
So where does Vivaldi fit in all of this? Right at the top, I'd say - due to her fantastic spec (air con, gen, water maker, new radial cut North sails to name but a few); her immaculate condition (her one and only owner is meticulous to a fault) and her beautiful, custom made, AWLGRIP Stone Grey Metallic hull. Add to this her three double cabin, all en suite layout (with the owner's cabin forward, where it should be) and her separate crew twin at the forepeak and you have a truly unbeatable yacht for the money. Berthed in Limassol, Cyprus, she's ready for a live virtual viewing now and, with the country at the top of the queue for Green List acceptance, we should be able to organise a physical viewing very soon or a live virtual viewing right away.
