Owners comments
We purchased Celtic Warrior in 2003 from Iron Wharfe Boat yard in Faversham and kept her in Gillingham Marina. During our Holidays we sailed often up the East coast and France, Belgium and Holland. In 2004 we replace the old Layland engine with a Beta 1505 the sailed from Harwich to Den Halder in Holland for our Summer holiday that year and continued to visit the Low countries for the next 2 years.
In 2006 when we retired and joined the Biscay Triangle Rally and went as far as A Coruña with them, continued down the Portuguese coast to Portimão to spend our first Winter away.
Spent time in Portugal going up the Guadana river and spent one winter in Saville at Gelves on the Guadaivir river. With trips back to the UK we spent time in Alcadesa Marina Near Gibraltar and sailed the south Spanish coast until we discovered Aguadulce Marina and wintered there for several years one summer sailing back up the Portuguese coast to Porto in company with friends returning to Aguadulce then to the Islands and Barcelona. Because of the Brexit vote ( (90 day rule) we decided to have Celtic Warrior trucked back to the UK but Covid happened and it was not until 2022 that was completed.
