The Owner is a renowned Polar Explorer who purchased the vessel in 2023 and authorised many replacements/upgrades in readiness for both Antarctic and Arctic sailing.

 * Re-conditioning of these sails: Genoa; Main (a Carbon Fibre Expedition Weave); Spinnaker

* Two anchors plus 100 m Chain for deep anchoring off Antarctic

* On each side of cockpit - two electric winches and one manual winch

 * Four 100 m Rode for anchoring with Steel and Dyneema Shoreline loops

Switchable between 50 Hz and 60 Hz.

* water maker pumps (2)
* built-in freezer
* 240v power outlets.

There are 12V and 24V DC circuits.

2024/2025
Over-wintering in 24/25 in a heated shed at East River Marina, Nova Scotia, all the rigging was checked and all the cotter pins replaced before re-stepping the mast in the Spring. The primary sails Main, Genoa and Spinnaker were reconditioned and in Spring 2025 a new generator was installed.
