The MC55 might be the smallest multihull in the McConaghy range, but this cat is no kitten.
Designed to be sailed and cruised by couples and families alike, the MC55 offers a hugely safe, spacious and comfortable platform that is incredibly easy to handle thanks to her clever layout and the technology installed.
The MC55 not only benefits from McConaghy’s vast experience building performance boats, but also from the carefully considered use of carbon, that sees her precise hull forms achieve an optimum strength to weight ratio. As with all McConaghy MC Multihulls, the MC55 has dual helm positions on the flybridge, allowing for the greatest sight lines forward, as well as an elevated position that aids in-port manoeuvres – making her an ideal choice for those new to multihull cruising.
With several MC50s sailing, this boat really should be a top consideration if performance cruising is on your goal.

MAIN DECK
The MC55 features seamless inside/outside living. Open the full width saloon doors and the aft deck and saloon are connected, open the expansive saloon side windows and the breeze, warmth and salt air flow throughout the saloon. Open the forward door step into the forward cockpit and allow the breeze to flow through your living area.
The galley is to port, the large central island is the centre of the living space, the settees are to starboard and the aft cockpit and stairs to the flybridge are just steps away. Spacious and comfortable this area is similar to what you would find on a 30 meter yacht.
The flybridge is just a few steps up above. With twin helms, sail controls and generous aft sofa bench the flybridge keeps all the sail handling out of the way of the living spaces and provides the perfect perch for a sundowner in a lovely anchorage.
The Hydraulic Swim Platform and tenderlift with remote control, Seasmart cleats, safety locks and padeyes, is the sublime connection between the deck and the sea.
THREE CABINS or FOUR CABINS
You can have the symmetrical four cabin arrangement with two cabins in each hull, or the three cabin arrangement with the Master cabin suite in the starboard hull with two cabins in the port hull.
Each cabin has; large hull windows, wardrobe, drawers, opening deck hatches, an ensuite including vanity sink, separate shower and fresh water electric flush toilet.
Aft cabins can be either twin berths with an insert or a double berth. Midship cabins have lateral double berth, with storage below
